This is the first Sauvignon Blanc sourced exclusively from the Two Sisters vineyard in the unique Niagara River sub-appellation. A delicate pale straw colour foreshadows the fresh, delicately pungent aroma of this wine. An herbaceous character of fresh asparagus and green bean combines with notes of zesty citrus, fresh flowers and linen to create an enticing nose. The palate delivers a burst of lemony citrus, as vibrant acidity elevates the bright presence on the tongue. Although dry, the bright fruit and floral notes impart a delightful impression of sweetness. The vegetal notes along with hints of fresh basil and lemongrass contrast the prominent fruitiness. The lingering tension between the contrasting complexities of this Sauvignon Blanc makes for a delightful finish.
