The 2020 Two Sisters Sauvignon Blanc is a triumph of winemaking and varietal character. The very hot, dry weather demanded meticulous harvest timing to preserve essential acidity, while allowing for ripeness and flavour development in the fruit.
The nose is bursting with Sauvignon Blanc character, showing juicy grapefruit, lemon zest, white peach, green asparagus, fresh herbs and underlying mineral notes.
The palate is a pop of lively acidity, amplifying the grapefruit and lemon citrus character, along with a generous hint of green gooseberry. It also has a backbone of asparagus, lemongrass and green bean. All of it really plays on the finish, combined with nuances of melon and tropical fruits, bitter citrus peel and minerality.
