Eagle Eye was created as the first white blend in the Stone Eagle portfolio. It is a thoughtfully created combination of Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
The fruit was allowed to fully ripen on the vine in order to gain flavour and pronounced varietal character. Patient winemaking and a judicious exposure to French oak caused the wine to evolve slowly and elegantly. These varieties have wonderful synergy as they are carefully combined in just the right proportions to create a truly extraordinary wine.
The result is a wine of exceptional weight, texture and complexity. Bursting with notes of rich lemon and grapefruit citrus, citrus zest, gooseberry, Barlett pear, baked apple, honeysuckle flowers and ginger, Eagle Eye has the perfect balance of vibrant flavour and luxurious mouthfeel. The wine culminates with an amazing finish that lingers on the palate and continues to reveal its lovely nuances.
