The Cask Series of wines are crafted exclusively for the Club TSV. This is a carefully crafted expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, focusing on the wonderful characteristics of the grape. The large format cask aging creates gentle oak flavours and gives the wine a distinct varietal character. This Cabernet Sauvignon is deliciously balanced and complicated, showing ripe black cherries, blackberries and black currants. The fruit is highlighted by hints of eucalyptus and black licorice, along with black pepper and cedar. The wine is exceptionally delicate, with supple tannins and perfectly harmonizing acidity. The overall impression on the palate is a wonderful integration of flavour and texture, with a delightfully long finish. Serve with filet mignon, braised short ribs or rabbit casserole.
