Tasting Notes

The 2024 Two Sisters Riesling is carefully crafted using exclusively fruit from the Parkway Vineyard in the unique Niagara River sub-appellation. The grapes were hand harvested and whole cluster pressed, then fermented at low temperatures to preserve the fresh aromatics of the exceptional fruit. The 2024 Riesling demonstrates an exceptional balance of flavour, acidity, texture and complementing sweetness. Citrus, apple, stone fruit, honeysuckle and underlying minerality, framed with a lovely, honeyed character, dominate the nose. Some lees were included in the stainless-steel ageing to add texture and character. On the palate this Two Sisters Riesling has a luscious combination of sweetness and vivid acidity. The apple, grapefruit and peach flavours carry through beautifully, and the honeycomb notes surface elegantly during the tasting. The minerality is delightfully present in the long finish, as tropical fruit notes appear through the surprisingly rich mouthfeel of this remarkable wine.
