The Cabernet Franc for 2022 was given extended barrel ageing, and is an expressive and inviting marriage of ripe dark fruits with sweet herbs and spices. Maintaining perfect harmony with polished tannins and balancing acidity on the palate, the flavours of plum and black raspberry are delightfully integrated with subtle notes of dried tea leaves, roasted red pepper, tomato leaf and white peppercorn. Persistent character creates a wonderfully lingering and complicated finish, allowing the complexities of the wine to be fully experienced and enjoyed.
