Stone Eagle Special Selection is Two Sisters’ most extraordinary wine and is only made in the best of vintages. The 2016 vintage was sunny and warm, with a long, ideal fall for ripening. Stone Eagle is made exclusively from estate grown fruit, and is meticulously crafted using 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot and 24% Cabernet Franc. The varieties are matured individually in barrel for 36 months, and then blended. Also 15% of the wine was made using the Appassimento (drying of the grapes before winemaking) method, and added during blending.
