The 2017 Cask Cabernet Franc is unique, and is a very pure expression of the grape variety because of the more delicate oak profile created by the larger cask.

True to the grape variety, the nose is a balance of fruit and spice, with a subtle savoury character. The palate is brilliantly fresh, fruity, and integrated. Pronounced flavours of ripe blackberries and black currants, exotic spices, and dried sweet herbs dance on the palate. The weight and texture complement the flavours. This is a wine of great finesse, and it lingers pleasantly as its nuances continue to surface. Drinking beautifully now with excellent aging potential into 2028.
