Cooking Classes At Kitchen76 

Our cooking classes have finished for the winter of 2020. stay tuned for news on classes coming in fall 2020. 

Join Chef Christine Mast in Kitchen76 and learn to master some great Italian favourites! Chef will educate you on the inspiration, ingredients, methods and techniques used to create each dish. In true Italian fashion, guests will receive a Two Sisters apron (to keep!) and enjoy an exceptional glass of wine. We look forward to sharing our kitchen with you for the evening.  

Classes will begin at 4:00 pm, you will spend roughly an hour and a half in the kitchen and then sit down to enjoy an Italian inspired meal, including the fruits of your labour.

Learn the art of making the perfect, incredible and fluffy ricotta gnocchi. During this class, you will learn the basic technique that is easy to replicate at home. As a bonus, we will also share our secrets to making the ultimate classic Italian tomato sauce. 

First Course: Beef Carpaccio with arugula, pecorino, pine nuts and truffle oil

Second Course: Ricotta gnocchi with house made tomato sauce and basil

Third Course: Barretta di Cioccolato alle Nocciole

Learn how to make a Kitchen76 favourite, the perfect pizza dough! Master the techniques of building, stretching and baking your own pizza dough using the methods we use right in Kitchen76. You will be able to wow your family and friends at home at your next pizza night!

First Course: Insalata Cicoria with red wine anchovy vinaigrette, parsley and Parmigiano Reggiano

Second Course: Your own personal Kitchen76 pizza

Third Course: Barretta di Cioccolato alle Nocciole

Learn how to make hand made Pappardelle noodles mastering the techniques of mixing the dough, rolling and cooking pasta. Understand all that goes into artisanal pasta making from different flours to cultural regional preferences. 

First Course: Insalata Cicoria with red wine anchovy vinaigrette, parsley and Parmigiano Reggiano

Second Course: Braised Rabbit Pappardelle with roasted mushrooms

Third Course: Plum Torta with vanilla gelato
