2013 Merlot

A beautiful ruby in colour and an elegant, floral pungency, giving way to black cherry and cranberry notes with lavender and plum accents. In the background are impressions of wood and smoke, echoed with a balanced satisfaction on the palate. Ripe berry notes and chocolate extend the pleasure. A luxurious mouth-feel leads to a long, pleasurable finish, carried by perfect acidity and minerality. Pairs with lighter meats such as venison, salmon or a vegetable risotto.
